ATAL LAB

School has ATAL Equipped with the latest technological equipment for a batch of 60 Students

APS Saugor follow all guidelines and documents mentioned on the AIM portal (http://aim.gov.in/guidelines-for-school.php). All the equipment considered necessary have been classified into the following four packages as follows:

P1 - Electronics Development, Robotics, Internet of Things, and Sensors

P2 - Rapid Prototyping Tools

P3 - Mechanical, Electrical, and Measurement tools

P4 - Power Supply, Accessories and Safety equipment



SCIENCE LABS

The following labs are exist in the School:-

  • Physics

Army Public School Saugor is proud to have a sophisticated Physics Laboratory with the latest state-of-the art facilities that equip the students to have hands on experience. The equipment ranges from the commonly found lens, magnet, beam balance, spring balance, and glass prism to the advanced apparatus like voltmeter, ammeter and resistors and spectrometers to name a few.



  • Biology

Biology Laboratory planned to meet the demands of the advancement in science and technology. The marble worktops are heat resistant and storage cabinets are easily accessible. The laboratory apparatus ranges from simple slides, test-tube, petridishes to the composite microscopes of varying powers to observe samples and organisms closely. They are high-powered, extremely expensive, and sensitive pieces of equipment that can make even the smallest part of a single cell seem clear. Besides the aforesaid the laboratory also has charts, models and specimens meant for demonstrations.



  • Chemistry

The avant-garde Chemistry Laboratory provides a platform for students to nurture the budding scientist within them. The Lab is provided with the state- of- the art devices like- Fume hood, Distillation unit, Electronic weighing machine, Bunsen burners, beakers and flasks. Concealed gas line and the safety devices such as Firefighting equipment, First- Aid Kit etc. The acids and other reactive chemicals are stored in separate locked cupboards as a further precautionary measure. The students are provided with separate workstations with individual burners and plug points. The apparatus includes the common place strikers, mortar and pestle, clay triangles, watch glasses, crucibles, crucible tongs, chemical spoon, stirring rods, filter funnels and a variety of stoppers.



MATHEMATICS LAB

A child can perceive a concept thoroughly only with the combination of theoretical teaching in a classroom and hands on experience in a lab. Math needs practice, interest and brainpower which are fostered by the Math lab. The APS Saugor Math Lab makes Math simple and fun for students. The lab is well equipped to demonstrate and elucidate any topic.



COMPUTER LABS

The APS Saugor has two spacious computer labs SRCAL1 and CAL2. The entire campus is networked and INTERNET facilities are provided for various tasks pertaining to the daily routine.

Computer science is taught as an additional subject right from Class I to Class X. The students of these classes are taught various software modules on different networks and different Operating systems. Computer science is taught as an optional subject for classes XI & XII. The students of these classes are taught Python, SQL, Boolean algebra and Networking Basics.




PSYCHOLOGY LAB

Psychology Lab provides the much needed room for experimentation and testing without which the study of Psychology is incomplete. It accommodates psychological equipment like Muller Lyer apparatus, Memory apparatus etc. and conducts tests like interest tax, aptitude test, intelligence tests, emotional intelligence test etc. used for assessing different psychological attributes for classes XI and XII. Portraits and details of many prominent psychologists like Freud, Piaget etc are given space in the lab for reference of students.



SOCIAL SCIENCE LAB

Social science lab acts as an activity room for pupil-teachers as it combines academic experience with worldly knowledge, making learning effective, lively and fun. This lab provides children various options to learn better and to increase their cognitive and cooperative learning. They learn to investigate how social science is embedded in our everyday lives

The Social Science Lab is well furnished with a seating capacity of 30-35 students focusing on spatial skills. It also includes:

  • Globes
  • Topographical Maps
  • Projector
  • Working and non-working 3D Models

Historical political maps of various expires and civilizations

Geographical and political charts 2D and 3D models.

  • Models made by students during exhibitions.



SPORTS

We believe that sports is not just a good exercise but also teaches valuable lessons in team spirit, respect for others, fair-play and discipline. Sports forms a very important part of our daily routine and every student is encouraged to choose and participate in at least one sport and students can choose from a wide array of activities. Not only does it empower youth and promote higher self-esteem, it also motivates students and enables them to earn better grades.

Keeping this in mind the school offers special training in sports such as

SMART CLASSES

Army Public School, Saugor has transcended into a digital revolution from this time. Educomp has implemented Smart Class programme. Educomp Solutions Limited, founded in 1994 is a globally diversified education solution provider and the largest education company in India. Existing classrooms are converted into technology- enabled classrooms equipped with Smart Class. Interactive Digiboards System with a PC connected to a dedicated Smart Class Knowledge Centre inside the School Campus. Setup has been carried out in 33 classes ranging from I to XII along with six labs. This year we have also extended our digital revolution to 12 more classes.



LANGUAGE LAB

The Language Lab is set up with consoles and headphones, with one master unit, catering to 40 scholars at a time. IT leverages to cutting edge to deliver truly state-of-the-art language learning solutions.IT is meticulously crafted, well-tailored and hones the communicative skills of students in Spoken English. This aims to facilitate efficient teacher-student interaction to correct phonetic accents/ dialects in English or other languages. Assists students, this to develop confidence while conversing.



MUSIC & DANCE

Education aims at complete personality development of the students. In this CCA activities play a vital role. No efforts have been spared to boost the hidden talents of the students for the same. New musical instruments like jazz drum, 02 x violins, 05 x flutes, 02 x Tambore, 02x Mangiras, 03 x Tanpuras, Surmandal, 03x Mouth Organs, Snare and Congo have been purchased. The School has recently prepared an Orchestra. A group of 35 students are practicing Indian classical and western musical instruments.



YOGA & MARTIAL ARTS

Yoga and Pranayam tends to raise the curtain of ignorance and other social evil. Students practice relaxing system of exercise involving concentration, focused breath and stretching. The School students have been practicing many asanas and formations. Martial Art teaches the art of self defence. The School has trained a Yoga and a Martial Arts Instructors.




CRAFT & ARTS

To enhance the creativity and aesthetic sense among the students drawing and painting classes are conducted regularly by craft teacher.




LIBRARY

There are 7027 books existing in the School Library. Presently 28 magazines are being subscribed annually.
