Primary Classes (I-II)
(i) Phonics and reading skills, Recitation.
(ii) Praise and encouragement for all small achievements.
(iii) General participation in games.
(iv) Nature walk.
(v) Teacher to stand outside the class and welcome the students by shaking their hands.

Primary Classes (III-V)
(i) Reading Club and record of reading progress.
(ii) Prepare greeting cards for soldiers on borders.
(iii) Quality circle time with class teacher.
(iv) Heritage walk.
(v) Expected good manners to be put up on charts.

Secondary Classes (VI-X)
(i) Use of ICT and computer games for research and investigative projects.
(ii) Serving Army officers and other professionals to be invited for giving motivational lecturers.
(iii) Group Discussion, Adolescence Education and Gender Sensitization programmes to be carried out.
(iv) Club activities – Health Club and Nature Club activities like planting saplings, awareness regarding various types of diseases and also harmful effects of junk food etc.
(v) NCC.
(vi) SPIC MACAY activities.
(vii) Student’s portfolio
(viii) Films through School Cinema to inculcate moral values amongst students.

Senior Secondary Classes (XI-XII)
(i) Mock Market (Money Management).
(ii) Reading Club.

(iv) Activities related to resisting peer pressure, use of drugs and alcohol.

(vii) Extempore Speech.

1.HPD ACTIVITIES 2019-2020

 

  1. Army Public School, Saugor is striving for academic excellence and personal development of students in a caring and challenging environment. So that each student can achieve their goal. It is a place, where students take joy in learning, and enjoying curriculum.

 

  1. Holistic Personality Development (HPD) being a need of the hour, every opportunity is given to students to highlight their skills not  only in the written world but also with opportunities that would help them assimilate and inculcate deep values, in keeping with the true Indian spirit.

 

  1. In order to ensure an all-round development of students, the following social activities have been conducted in the school by T/O Dharmesh Bhai Patel, during last year and current year :-

 

            (a)        Students visited Orphanage and Old Age home. Where they donated some edible items and clothes.          

 

            (b)        Students participated in tree plantation.

 

            (c)        Students took out a rally   on ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’

 

            (d)        Students participated in ‘Nasha Mukti Abhiyan’

 

(e)        Students participated in ‘Pulse Polio Programme’ in neighbouring village.

 

(f)         International Yoga Day conducted in the school.

 

            (g)        Students performed ‘Surya Namaskar’
